Victoria leading the way

Congratulations to the Municipal Association of Victoria - they have decided to look at how they can transition council area across Victoria toward a low carbon future, taking into account the effects of both climate change and peak oil.

MAV has also recognised the value in having community plans tailored to factor in a post carbon future - and written by the community.

Think Green Consultancy was invited to present a paper at their recent conference and deliver a presentation on Transition Towns and Energy Descent Action Planning at a discussion forum on this topic and it was a pleasure to hear how they are embracing this idea and moving forward to prepare their state for the future.

A surge in interest

We've been fortunate enough to experience a surge in interest from a number of clients across Australia wishing to engage our services.

Local governments, community groups and even a state government department have contacted us to arrange meetings to discuss their needs and how they can bring climate change and peak oil action strategies to their local areas.
